Who I am

Les Braid It is run by me - Lilian, a hairstylist in South East London. I am responsible for your personal details.

When you book: your name, email address, phone number, the style, add-ons, date and time, and whether you agree to photos or videos of your hair being shared.
When you pay a deposit: whether the payment went through. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so I never see or store your card details.
Custom style requests: the photo you upload, your description, and any messages between us.
Member accounts: your login email, name, phone number, date of birth (only used for your birthday treat and birthday email), your bookings and your loyalty card progress.
Enquiry forms: the details you type in, such as for the classes or collaborations.
If you booked through my old website, your past booking details were moved here so your history is kept.

To book, confirm, remind you about and manage your appointments, and to contact you about them. This is needed to provide the service you asked for.
To keep records of payments for my accounts and tax, which the law requires.
To share photos or videos of your hair, but only if you said yes on your booking form. You can change your mind at any time.
I do not sell your details or use them for advertising.

Booking and payment records are kept for up to 6 years, because accounts and tax records must be kept for that long.
Custom request photos and messages are kept only as long as needed for your request, and you can ask me to delete them.
Member accounts are kept until you ask me to close them.

You can ask to see the details I hold about you, to correct them, or to have them deleted (unless I must keep them for tax records).
You can ask me to stop using your details for something, such as sharing photos of your hair.
To ask, contact me by email or WhatsApp. I will reply within one month.

If you log in, your browser stores a small login key so you stay signed in, and a note of whether you are logged in so the menu shows the right links.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
